Finally done with the October interview circuit. I have now discovered two schools that I am in love with and if I am blessed to be accepted by both of them, I will have a very difficult time deciding between the two. Right now, I'm just glad to be back at school and starting a normal routine tomorrow, full of research, and volunteering, classes, and fitness. Now I just have to keep myself busy as I wait, which I really doubt will be much of a problem. This week should be pretty busy.
Yesterday, I spent a very nice time at the scenic overlook and watched Gravity. This morning I ran the Color me Rad 5k. It is strange to me that its been a year since I ran my first one, I feel like almost no time has passed since that time in my life and yet also years have passed as well, when I just think about how much more of a runner I have become. I couldn't help but keep talking about everything I did last year.

Thankfully, it didn't really make me too sad to think about. Deirdre and I took it real easy, which suited me just fine since my ankles are starting to bother me a little bit from all this extra running I've been doing since coming back from the interviews. This afternoon I just napped and then got dinner and coffee with my tennis buddy.
This weekend should be a lot of fun, a few preliminary Halloween events through Hillcrest and boogieburg at Sycamore. Hopefully I can get a few of my friends to come. I might even go to a football game, go figure.
I found this TED talk pretty funny...this seems like something I would do if I was single at 30:
