Today has been my first productive day in a looooong time. I did a whole lot of AMSA stuff, sending speaker invitations and even went through all 67 applications to choose 30 that will be in the event in February. Tomorrow I will be sending out all the invites (and declines) and figure out more speakers to invite. I'm also going to be trying to figure out housing options at Penn State. I'm thinking that I should just go for it just in case I don't get in anywhere else.
Also, tomorrow, after going to the intense Core class and playing some racquetball I have to go to my primary care physician to discuss test results from my lab work. I need her to sign some forms, but the nurse mentioned to me that she needed to discuss one of the results with me....apparently I have high cholesterol? Which makes very little sense, especially considering that I'm 22 and these past 6 months I have both eaten the best and am in the best shape of my life (at least in terms of physical activity). I'm really a little worried but stuff like that is never that easy. I guess I will find out.
I'm looking forward to another productive day tomorrow so that I start to shed some of the anxiety I've been building up these past couple of weeks over AMSA. The more I do now, the more excited I can allow myself to get about going to Switzerland!
